What AI actually is
What a language model is really doing when it answers you, in terms that do not require a math degree — and why understanding that one thing changes how you use it.
Free · beginners welcome
No experience, no card, no course platform. Ask for it through the contact form and I email you a private link to the training videos myself — usually the same day.
Open to anyone — business owners, church staff, students, retirees, job seekers. It costs nothing either way.
Send a request through the contact form on theaidisciple.com and Aaron Tenney emails you a private link to the free AI training videos personally. There is no fee, no subscription and no sales call attached to it. The only thing asked for is a name and an email address so the link can be sent and so questions can be answered afterwards.
The course is AI basics for total beginners: what AI actually is, how to get a usable answer out of it, how to catch it when it is confidently wrong, and what should never be typed into a chat window in the first place.
Why give it away
Nearly everyone I meet has heard that AI is going to change their work, and nearly nobody has been shown how to use it for anything more useful than a limerick. Then they read a headline about AI making things up, decide it cannot be trusted, and stop.
That gap is not going to be closed by a paid course that most people will never buy. So the beginner material is free, to anyone, regardless of whether they will ever be a client. If it turns out you want help building something real afterwards, that is what the consulting side is for. If it does not, you still keep the training.
The only thing I ask is that you come through the contact form rather than a download button. I send the link myself, which means I can answer your questions afterwards and point you at the right next thing instead of dropping you into an autoresponder.
The course
Six short video lessons. Plain English, no jargon, nothing you need to install. Watch them in an evening or one a week — the link does not expire.
What a language model is really doing when it answers you, in terms that do not require a math degree — and why understanding that one thing changes how you use it.
Opening a chat tool for the first time, what the buttons do, which free tool to start with, and the first three things worth trying with your own work.
The difference between a question that produces vague filler and one that produces a draft you would actually send. Context, examples, format and role — with real before-and-after examples.
Why AI invents facts, what a hallucination looks like when it is dressed up in professional language, and a simple habit for checking an answer before you rely on it.
Customer records, medical details, passwords, employee information, anything shared with you in confidence. Where your typing actually goes, and how to set one rule you will remember.
Picking one repetitive task in your own week and turning it into something you do with AI every time, rather than a tool you remember once a month.
Three steps
Name, email, and pick Free AI training from the dropdown. One sentence about what you are hoping to do with AI helps, but it is not required.
Sent personally, normally within one business day. Not an automated sequence — a real reply you can write back to.
Go at whatever pace suits you. If a lesson does not land, reply to the email and ask. That part is free too.
Who asks for it
People whose competitors have started using this and who would rather not find out the hard way what that means. Start here before you spend a dollar on tools.
Pastors, administrators and volunteers running on donated hours. There is a whole page on working with churches, and this course is the front door to it.
Anyone who needs to be able to say honestly on an application that they know how to use these tools, and to back it up when asked.
Retirees, career changers, anyone who has been quietly nodding along in meetings. Nobody in this course is assumed to know anything, and no question is too basic.
Also free
A short written guide covering where to start, what never to paste into a chat window, and how to check an answer. Straight download, no form.
Hundreds of published videos on AI, faith and getting real work done — 471 of them produced in the last nine months.
A free animated Bible story library for children in English and Urdu, free to use in Sunday school and at home.
One form, one real reply, one private link. If AI has been sitting on your list of things to figure out for a year, this is the least expensive way to finally start.
